About Privasys
Privasys LLC is a Delaware company building privacy-focused software for people who want their personal data to stay personal. Our first product is an encrypted photo vault for iOS, storing photos in the cloud storage people already own, without ever being able to read them ourselves.
We're a small, deliberately lean team, and we intend to stay that way. Every decision — technical, product, or business — is made against three principles:
Security
Encryption happens on your device. We built the architecture so that we are technically unable to read your content, not just promising not to.
Trustworthiness
Every limitation is stated plainly. We don't obscure what the product can and can't do, even when the honest answer is inconvenient.
Simplicity
Privacy shouldn't require expertise. The secure path should be the easy path, by design.
How it works
Encrypted before it leaves your device
Every photo is encrypted on your phone with AES-256 before anything is uploaded.
Stored in your own Google Drive
You already pay for the storage. Privasys runs no servers that hold your photos.
Only you hold the key
Not Google, not Privasys. Lose the key, and even we can't get back in.
